Proposed over-55 Apartment Building and Fitness Room
We are in the beginning stages of planning for a proposed small, 10-unit apartment building for over-55 residents. The proposed building will be built on our reserved one-acre parcel of land located at Conestoga and Lancaster Avenues.
We fully understand that residents of Strafford Station Apartments as well as our surrounding neighbors will have questions about this project.
For our residents, we have set up a display in the rental office where you are welcome to come by, at your leisure, to view. Julia or Samantha will be available to answer any questions you may have.
For our surrounding neighbors, we will be scheduling a meeting at a nearby location to present our displays and answer any questions. The invitations to this meeting will be going out shortly.
On this web page you will find a colorful plot plan of Strafford Station that highlights the location of the proposed building, an artists rendition of the front elevation of the building and a fitness room photo.
As you can see, this proposed building will be similar in design but smaller, (approximately one half the size), of our existing buildings. The building will meet and exceed all local, state and township codes, and include a well-defined landscape buffer between the adjacent properties and the new building that conforms to the requirements of the township. The new building will house ten apartments (all of which will be restricted to over-55 occupancy), be served by an elevator, a secure key card entry system and will include a state of the art fitness room that will be available to all residents of Strafford Station Apartments.
